Contra Costa Senior Legal Services has resumed hosting free in-person legal clinics at a number of locations around Contra Costa County. Our clinics are open to all residents of Contra Costa County who are age 60 and older. Legal clinics include our Consult an Attorney Clinics and our Wills Clinics. Consult an Attorney Clinics provide services in the following areas of law:
- Housing/eviction issues
- Elder abuse (financial, physical, or emotional)
- Consumer law/consumer debt issues
- Small claims issues
- Durable Powers of Attorney
- Advance Health Care Directives
Wills Clinics provide participants with simple wills. Please note that our Wills Clinics do not handle trusts. Wills Clinics have eligibility requirements, and you will be screened for eligibility when you call to enroll in the clinics. All Consult an Attorney and Wills Clinics are by appointment only.
