Collaborations

East Contra Costa Community Alliance (ECCCA)

The East County Senior Resource Initiative (ECSRI) – CCSLS is collaborating with four nonprofit partners including Empowered Aging, Meals on Wheels Diablo Region, Choice in Aging, and the Diablo Valley Foundation for the Aging to increase access to services for seniors in need in the east part of the county.  With generous support by the John Muir Community Health Fund, the Initiative hired its first East County Older Adult Support Specialist

Elder Abuse Prevention Project – Funded by a Victim of Crime Acts grant, this initiative has enabled CCSLS to assist the victims of abuse. The partners of this project include many local nonprofits, government and senior support agencies such as: Empowered Aging; APS; the District Attorney’s Office; and the Family Justice Center.
